KEBAB RECIPE
KABAB IS BASICALLY Grilled meat (such as chicken, lamb, or beef) is skewered and often served with rice or vegetables.
Here is a recipe for making chicken kebabs:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using them to prevent burning)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Place the chicken in a large bowl and add the yogurt mixture. Toss to coat the chicken evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the kebabs with rice or vegetables, and a dipping sauce if desired. Enjoy!
